The eagle has landed. And Berlin is just as I remember it from one year ago. I do love this place, all the details. It’s hard to put to words, but I just do. I’m planning on telling a story a day on this place, the people I’m meeting and the things I’m doing. I […]

On the road again! I do love Berlin…over the past several years I’ve spent varying amounts of time there from a week to 3 months. On Wednesday I’m off again for the Euro summer, just for the Aussie winter, I’ll be back in Melbourne in September. Why oh why I wonder? Cos I just…love it…that’s […]

Oh my word. I’m published. I have never felt so proud. I’ve felt the need to really get Your Family Story out there to give people far and wide a chance to consider it. Little ONE Baby was the clear winner. Their focus is on supporting mums and dads with lots of real life stories, […]

I’m a bit excited. Wanna know why? Because I’m about to embark on a three-edition, 12 month advertising campaign for my beautiful, lovely, very special product called Your Family Story. In which magazine you ask? The gorgeous, luscious, heartfelt Little ONE Baby. I met the associate editor Amy in Bendigo a couple of months ago […]

‘Allo ‘allo. Back to the Can Can. Back to family, my hair stylist, my dentist, my familiar world. But not for long. Just long enough to get my camera sensor cleaned, to reconnect with my niece and nephew, to buy a new chicken for my sister. (The dog got the old one). Then off to […]

I’m here in Melbourne for a few more days and tying off some loose ends. I’ll be back here in September. The late afternoon light has crept in and raked across this gum tree. This is when I get all nostalgic about being Australian, about when it’s time to head off. Because I’m not just […]

hi Beth I like the Melbourne / Berlin thing too!
I just wish that I could get to spend more time in Melbourne though. That’s the drawback of having job security -only 6 weeks holidays/year and the wish not too spend them all in the same place.
Now back to planning the 2 weeks in July in Valencia/Barcelona….. I’m sure that I will see you when you’re in Berlin. cheers Raymond

Beth Jennings - May 6, 2012 - 10:00 pm

Awww hi Raymond! So great that you stopped by two write a few words, thanks so much! So you’re a Melbourne man – yes it’s like Berlin – but Berlin is on steroids in comparison. I do love both cities, there is a particular vibe. Spain sounds awesome!!! Perfecto – yes let’s definitely catch up this summer. B

On Saturday a second fundraiser event was held for the lovely Lisa. Lisa is fighting her cancer head on and to continue the fight she needs financial help. Like last time, in February, I came along and captured the story of the fundraising day itself. Held at Bundoora Park Heritage Village, this event attracted more […]

Well done Beth…
After meeting Lisa at the Feb event, it was not only a pleasure, but a mission to organise an event even bigger on this side of Melbourne..
As I said in a couple of my speeches, I was genuinely and emotionally overwhelmed by the attendance and the support, shown to a lovely girl that, I believe it is safe to say, more than 1/2 didn’t know…
Lisa, all these people were touched by your story, as I was, and it show…
I am sure that with yours, and your awesome parents appreciation shown on the day, these people would love to be right behind all the way…
With your Fight, your love of life, your appreciation, WE ALL LOVE YA….

This will become an annual event held in February. A sneak peak from today of Lisa with her parents Carmel and Shane. More soon […]

Beth Jennings - March 12, 2012 - 3:46 pm

She is beautiful, isn’t she? This is a show reel – a piece that showcases the actor – and by default showcases my work and way of seeing too. The perfect blend! She is amazing, though, isn’t she?!
