A book is launched

My book ‘Memories at your fingertips – organise your digital photos like a pro’ was officially launched on the weekend!

I partnered with Michaels Camera Store in the Melbourne CBD. They provided a fantastic venue complete with an education room where they run courses. We set up the room to make it perfect for the 70 or so guests.

Guests were collecting their pre-purchased book from the February crowd-funding campaign, or they were coming on a ticketed price of $39.95 which included a signed book copy.

In any case, everyone there had a book copy in their hands and an hour to listen to my workshop ‘From Capture to Create – how to capture personality and connection in a family photo story’. They learned about in-camera, editing and post-production decisions which all lead to a beautiful family photo story full of life and authenticity, not a fake smile in sight anywhere!

Afterwards we swanned around enjoying luscious cupcakes and gorgeous drinks, before drawing the winner from the $700 prize draw – awarded to Maria Simonelli!

All the pictures here were taken by the very talented Samantha Sagona…thank you Sam!!!

It was a thrilling instalment in the book process and a wonderful way to give it a great send off.

Thank you so much for your support and interest in this book, many people are keen to see it and you can find out more about the book here.
